After a forty year career as an architect, now is the time to contemplate the world and continue to explore it. I have always loved travel and writing and I am now able to focus on these.

For almost fifty years now I’ve shared my life with my husband Ian — my rock and an equally keen traveller — and our close group of friends, who have brought so much happiness to our life together.

I’ve been doing more walking recently, leading walkers’ groups from Islington u3a as well as on my own or with other friends. Now I’m exploring theories about the ancient high roads of Britain by walking them and researching them.

Interests: Travel, writing, architecture, choir, seeking out new friends and situations, new experiences and emotions, iphone photography and drawing, theatre – especially musical theatre by Sondheim – good food and drink in good company … and cooking.
